Islam

Islam is the religious faith of Muslims, based on the words and religious system founded by the prophet Muhammad and taught by the Koran, the basic principle of which is absolute submission to a unique and personal god, Allah. Islam is the second-largest religion in India, with 14% of the country's population or approx. 172 million people identifying as adherents of Islam, it makes India the country with the largest Muslim population outside Muslim-majority countries.
